Device support
Prepare the details that identify the problem.
A useful support request names the exact device, app, connection, and symptom. This checklist helps you collect those details before opening a conversation.
Identify the device and app
- Write the device brand and model, such as the exact television or streaming-device model.
- Include the name of the app or media player and, when visible, its version.
- Say whether the device uses Ethernet, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or mobile data.
- Copy the full error message rather than describing it only as “not working.”
Describe when it happens
Explain whether the question begins during sign-in, while opening the app, when starting playback, or after the device has been running for some time. Say whether it affects one item or everything you try. If another device on the same connection behaves differently, include that result.
Safe checks before contacting support
- Restart the affected device and the home router without resetting either one to factory settings.
- Confirm that the device date and time are correct.
- Check whether other apps on the same device can reach the internet.
- Keep login details private and send them only through the designated support channel when requested.
Avoid factory resets, unofficial downloads, or repeated password changes unless the device publisher or the IPTV Harmony support team gives a specific reason.
Send one complete message
Combine the device, app, connection, exact symptom, and checks already attempted in one message. A complete first message reduces unnecessary questions and helps support identify the next relevant step.
